This year's Spring Banquet was a huge success! The evening consisted of a fabulous dinner, silent and live auctions, and plenty of door prizes.
One highlight of the evening was listening to 3 time Classic Winner and five time Angler of the Year, Kevin VanDam. Kevin shared about his faith, family, and gave tips for successful bass fishing. He also encouraged us to join him supporting SPI.
Maury DeYoung gave an update on the ministry telling about what is happening in and through some of the outdoor ministries and events. He also gave us an update on the soccer ministries that are developing in Sierra Leone and Nigeria.
Thank you to those who attended and gave your support. We especially want to thank table sponsors, who paid for a table and then invited others to join you at this event. A special thanks goes to those of you who donated products and trips included in our auctions.
Through your generosity we are able to raise approximately $28,000 this evening for SPI (compared to $18,000 last year). This is especially helpful as some other donations have dropped off this year, and we also lost a couple of foundations grants.

Sportspersons Ministries International exists to connect outdoors people with God, through trust in Jesus Christ.
